Today, the Komati Basin Water Authority (KOBWA) proudly participated in the inaugural Council of Ministers Meeting convened by the Incomati and Maputo Watercourse Commission (INMACOM).

The gathering, held at the Birchwood Hotel in Boksburg, South Africa, brought together key stakeholders and decision-makers to strengthen regional cooperation on transboundary water management. This milestone meeting marked a significant step forward in collaborative governance, as Member States reaffirmed their commitment to sustainable development, equitable water allocation, and the protection of shared water resources.

The KOBWA’s participation underscored its dedication to advancing integrated water resource management and fostering partnerships that ensure the long-term resilience of transboundary water basins.
